I have never beaten my dog so I'm not 100% sure this is what a beaten dog would look like, but I think it might be. Her eyes are sad, she whimpers a bit, she's shaven and sliced and sad, so very sad. I hired dog walkers once a week to help keep River active since Small Boy went to college. I noticed soon after they started, so maybe in December, that she had a limp in her right rear leg after going out with them. She'd rest up and be fine and then the next week the limp would be back. I hate ice. I heartily and fairly loudly dislike leaving the house in the 7 am winter gloom to be dragged on icy slushy walks by the dog. Today is the first day I've had in the office since...
